For the price one third of most offerings I’ve seen it does exactly what I needed. USB polling must be max 1ms, as with any real-time USB interface, some system optimizers change this to 5ms or more. The adapter has a bright red light; the lights for showing data transfer remain off when the piano keys are pressed. Only mentioning this since it is vital info that I would have liked to have seen in case anyone else is considering it for this purpose. Few issues with XP, no sound out but the lights flash, but in Windows 7 works brilliantly. Amazon Business Service for business customers. Would buy again without hesitation. Very frustrating and not sure what to do next.

My main reason for giving this 2 stars is that it’s just a bit too generic and anonymous, to the point that you’ll need a lot of luck to find the logilimk drivers for it even though it installs itself, I’m not convinced it is finding the latest modi drivers etc. If the latter is what you want it for, buy something else. It was tempting to deduct a further star for the fact that this did not function correctly for my intended purpose which was to update a Roland TD12 drum module from v1.

It does not transfer all the midi data from a keyboard to the USB input, it seems to have a large ‘thinking time’ after sending a note-on message and so misses any other messages sent at the same time, so is useless for connecting a polyphonic keyboard to a computer.
This product is not as described and should not be sold by Amazon. Didn’t work ,when I looked up online why they program I was using said don’t use cheap midi devices like this one they even had a picture of the exact one ,I had to go to our local music shop and buy a Rolland one that worked fine.
Bought it to produce music on my PC at home, what a waste of money doesn’t work at all.
